Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for the role of the character Detective Diane Russell. Her roles comprise All My Children Philly CSI: Miami and Army Wives. Delaney was born the sole child of her mother who was a homemaker and an executive in her union, the United Auto Workers. Delaney lived most of her life in the company of four brothers. She envisioned becoming a court reporter during the early years of her life, however she began modelling in high school and eventually gaining commercials after moving from New York. As a teenager, her first role as an actress was in the 1980 soap opera All My Children. Since then, Delaney has appeared in numerous film and television dramas. Her professional career has been more successful than her private life. This actress who's gifted and gorgeous, has struggled with alcoholism before. She has also had marriages that ended in failure two times. In 2005, she lost custody of her sole son.
